Volunteering
Volunteering at James Hopkins Trust
Volunteers have played an important role by supporting the vital work we do at James Hopkins Trust ever since our inception in 1989. We are always keen to welcome new individuals with a variety of skills to join our already devoted team of Volunteers at James Hopkins Trust.
Whatever your role, you are playing a crucial part in supporting the services we provide for children and their families. Volunteering with us connects people, skills and good causes, ultimately providing the best care possible for each child who uses James Hopkins Trust.
Whatever time you can spare, by volunteering at James Hopkins Trust you can really make a difference!
What does being a volunteer involve?
If you have any free time to spare, whether it is a few hours a week or a few days in a year, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for like-minded, friendly and helpful people who enjoy using their skills to the benefit of others. There are many ways in which you may get involved.
What might I be asked to help with?
There are a variety of ways in which you can help support us:
- Helping with local bucket collections
- Man a fundraising stall at one of our events or at one of the many community organised events that we attend
- Exchanging and promoting collection tins
- Garden maintenance and repairs
- Organising our donated goods
- Distribution of leaflets
- Making things to sell at our events
