I have been a volunteer for JHT for 12 years. From the moment I walked through the door at Kites Corner I knew this is where I wanted to do some volunteering. The warmth and welcome that I received was just amazing.

Kites Corner is such a happy place full of laughter where the children can come and enjoy fun times together and parents and families can enjoy much needed respite care.

I have had the privilege of volunteering at many events at Kites Corner and other venues over the years. I especially enjoyed my time volunteering on reception, where I welcomed and greeted the children with warmth and enthusiasm. While things have changed following and I no longer do this, I cherish the memories of seeing the children, who, despite facing various challenges, always greeted me with a smile that brightened my day.

I am very privileged to be apart of such a wonderful, caring charity and continue to volunteer when and where I can.
