Learning & Development

Annual Leave
Each team member will receive 30 days annual leave, including bank holidays, per year (pro rata), increasing through length of service.
Comparable Compensation and Benefits

Current Vacancies
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Working under the direction of the Play Leader you will deputise in their absence but also support the respite nurses/senior respite nurses to provide care in partnership with the child and family.
22-37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday, please note that you may be asked occasionally to help support cover evening and weekend working.
• Day rate starting from - £11.67 an hour (gross)
• Saturday enhanced day rate starting from - £14.00 (gross)
• Sunday enhanced day rate starting from – £18.67 an hour (gross)
• Night rate starting from - £16.34 an hour (gross)
Fundraiser
We’re looking for enthusiastic Fundraisers to join our team and help create amazing experiences for our supporters, volunteers, and partners. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
• Fundraising Activities: Plan and deliver a regular programme of fundraising events and activities such as our golf day, Kite Ball, online auction and other community events.
• Community Engagement: Work with local businesses, schools, faith groups, and individuals to support their fundraising efforts and build lasting relationships.
• Storytelling: Share inspiring stories with our supporters to show the impact of their donations.
• Presentations: Prepare and deliver engaging pitches and presentations to secure new support.
• Volunteer Coordination: Identify when we need volunteer support, recruit volunteers, and help them get started.
• Competitive Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (FTE and DOE)
• Flexible Hours: various hours available up to 37.5 hours a week, with some hybrid working options.

Bank Health Care Assistant
As a Heath Care Assistant, you will support the respite nurse/senior respite nurse to provide vital respite care at our purpose build respite centre, Kites Corner
Various bank hours available to work some evenings, nights and weekends
Shift patterns covering term time and school holidays, Monday – Sunday, on a rota basis
• Day rate - £12.00 an hour (gross).
• Saturday enhanced day rate - £14.40 an hour (gross)
• Sunday enhanced day rate – £19.20 an hour (gross)
• Night rate - £16.80 an hour (gross)
Bank Respite Nurse
Providing specialist nursing respite care at Kites Corner, the home of James Hopkins Trust
Various bank hours available to work some evenings, nights and weekends
Shift patterns covering term time and school holidays, Monday – Sunday, on a rota basis
• Day rate - £18.95 an hour (gross).
• Saturday enhanced day rate - £22.74 an hour (gross)
• Sunday enhanced day rate - £28.96 an hour (gross)
• Night rate - £26.53 an hour (gross)
Respite Nurse
Providing specialist nursing respite care at Kites Corner, the home of James Hopkins Trust
22-37.5 hours per week.
Various contracted hours available to work some evenings, nights and weekends.

Senior Respite Nurse
Providing specialist nursing respite care at Kites Corner, the home of James Hopkins Trust.
30-37.5 hours per week (fixed term contract, to cover maternity leave).
Various contracted hours available to work some evenings, nights and weekends.
Shift patterns covering Monday – Sunday, on a rota basis.
