James Hopkins Trust is a brilliant place for families to meet other families who have a life limited or severely disabled child. Many lifelong friendships are made through James Hopkins Trust and there is a wonderful sense of community at Kites Corner. Caring for a disabled child is a labour of love, but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding. We are here to provide families with the support they need by offering a safe and caring environment for their children while they take a well-deserved break.

Caring for a disabled child is a labour of love, but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding. Parents often struggle juggling the additional responsibilities that their child’s condition or disability brings to family life. We’re here to offer families the support they require, providing a safe and caring space for their child while they take a well-deserved break. It’s a chance for parents to unwind, be themselves and enjoy their role as caregivers. Siblings, who might be feeling isolated or overwhelmed, get an opportunity to play together, share special moments and have some fun too.

Your unique experiences and insights can guide our efforts to better support the children and their families who are part of the James Hopkins Trust community. You will contribute directly to the positive impact we make, plus it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet others who share similar experiences, forming a supportive community. Together, we can build a stronger charity and create a space where everyone feels involved, valued and understood.
