Buy a brick campaign.
Buy-A-Brick and help us build Phase 2 of Kite's Corner
As you may have read in our News pages, following requests from our parents we are currently trialing the provision of overnight respite sessions in our respite centre, Kite's Corner. This trial is at present taking place every other Friday night, with respite available to the children throughout the following day as well.
We are taking two children at a time from early on the Friday evening, and two Nurses are on duty at all times using 3 different shift patterns.
We will be keeping a close eye on the demand, costs and logistics of providing this extra care, and if all is successful we will start fundraising to build an extension to Kite's Corner to provide a couple of permanent bedrooms at an estimated cost of £250,000
When we built our Respite Centre one of the fundraising tools we used was to sell 'bricks' at £25 each. Perhaps you could join in with friends or neighbours to raise money to buy a series of bricks towards the cost of the extension. All donations will be acknowledged with a Buy-A-Brick certificate
